This policy explains what CVScriba collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built this product for students applying to real jobs, so we treat application data carefully.
1. Who we are
CVScriba is operated by the CVScriba team ("we", "us"). Contact: support@cvscriba.com.
2. What we collect
Account data (email, name if provided), job postings and CV/cover letter content you submit, generated application files, usage data needed to run the service, and payment-related metadata if you upgrade (processed by Stripe).
3. How we use your data
To create and store tailored CVs and cover letters, operate your account, improve the product, provide support, and process payments. We do not sell your personal data.
4. AI processing
To generate tailored documents, we send relevant parts of your CV and job description to our AI provider. Do not submit secrets you are not comfortable processing for that purpose.
5. Storage and retention
Application data and files are stored in our database so you can return to them later. You can delete applications from your account. You may also email support@cvscriba.com to request account deletion.
6. Sharing
We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database, AI, email, payments) only as needed to run CVScriba. They process data under their own terms and security controls.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Email support@cvscriba.com and we will help.
